Tony’s still caught up with suburbs. It’s starting to grow on me. That or I’ve just conceded defeat. It’s shitty out, come to Langside and buy some coffee. Then buy some bright clothes and I’ll give you a deal on them. We can’t expect the green to last forever, so all green clothes are on sale.

Well hello my pretties!!
This weekend is the Osborne Village Sidewalk Sale, where everything will be 20% off allllll weekend from Friday morning (even though that is not weekend) til Sunday evening! This sale will include all of the Crypt’s (already discounted) last remains, our new Tripp NYC collection (some of which is pictured in the attachments) which is going ffffffast, Manic Panic dye/eyeshadow/extensions, stockings, screwback spikes, collars, cuffs, bullet belts (there is only one left actually!!!) and all vintage and retro shirts, pants, jackets, dresses, skirts, shoes, boots, belts, bags, hats, suits, scarves, shades, etc etc etc!

I leave August 31st, and am so far beyond excited I just might pee my pants. SOOO, in celebration if you come in today at the Langside location (357 Langside) you’ll get %15 off ANYTHING vintage (so no tripp stuff sorry) as long as you can relate it to Vancouver in a way that makes me smile, giggle, or get angry and slap you. Basically just make it believeable.

The Langside store continues to emit waves of awesomeness as the Osborne location opens up today (2:00 pm!). Tony feels a need to play the new Arcade Fire cd on repeat today, so if you need a suburbian fix, I guess we’re the place. Or if you feel like coming in and telling Tony that ,sure the Arcade Fire may be more than just alright, but repeat for six hours is superfluous then that’s ok too.

As most of you should know the motherfucking Business are playing the Albert on the 19th. You should probably go get your head kicked in along with the rest of the ruffians and hoodlums sure to be in attendance. Don’t forget to do some kicking of the head(s) yourself. Seriously though. This band is not to be missed, considering they embody oi!, seeing them is sure to be an experience hardly recreated since ‘82. So strap your boots on, put on your suspenders (both are available at hungoober) and fucking go.

Oh my, what a busy couple of weeks it has been. Our new space at 173 Osborne is coming along quite swimmingly and I’ll be using all the ambition is my fair soul to get it open for Monday(!!!!)
Also, we just got a shipment of TRIPP NYC CLOTHING (one of The Crypt’s old brands) in, I’ll be taking pictures as soon as I can and posting them so you can see what kind of stuff there is, but to mention a few, there are some badass moto and tutu dresses, corsets, matching skirts, gloves, red plaid punk pants for girls, and for guys, badass button ups, bondage pants, skinny pants, suspenders and a lot more. There is only one of each item in each size, so for the best selection you will have to come in right away. Also, once the Osborne store is open, the wears will be split up between the two, so for the best selection of sizes come in to 357 Langside today or tomorrow!

As our newest location on Osborne is coming slowly into fruition this week, we have also been asked to open a booth at Rock On the Range, at the Stadium this Saturday with Stone Temple Pilots headlining! Memories of Grade 8 come to mind, wondering what Sex Type Thing was really about if it wasn’t about what we all thought it was about. So if you are going to be at the show, come find us on the south side of the stadium with the other vendors and collect some stickers and buy some super snazzy stuff at special prices ($12, $20, $40 and $60) and no tax. Yeeeeharrrrrr!!
